So this year, February is a leap month and boy are we leaping at Trusted Clothes. In case, you missed out on what’s been happening this past month, read on because we’ll fill you in on the details!
What’s Hot This February?
The Ground Hog came out on February 2 and he didn’t see his shadow. So that means we’re going to have a short winter and spring is well on its way. So check out Spring Is Just Right Around the Corner and pick out your Spring attire from Aqua Green, Braintree Clothing, and Oka-B Sandals.
Getting Hitched Spring/Summer 2016?
Are you getting married this year? How about getting a bridal gown that is made ethically? You can walk down the aisle, wearing a beautiful and sustainable bridal gown from Leila Hafzi and feel great! If you’re into vintage, then check out Posh Girl Boutique where they have a wide selection of vintage wedding gowns that date back to the 1950’s.
I don’t know about you, but with all the grocery stores and retailers charging 5 cents each for a plastic bag, I’ve started collecting reusable bags that I take with me whenever I go shopping. I suggest you do the same and look no further because here are 9 Reusable Shopping Bags That Actually Look Cool. We really like the polka dot reusable bag from Kate Spade and all Baggu bags under $20.

How can you help?
Trusted Clothes can’t do it without you. Fashion awareness starts with you! Every month we like to acknowledge those who are doing something unique to contribute to ethical clothing and making a difference in people’s lives.
Volunteer of the Month
Congrats to Trusted Clothes “Volunteer of the Month” Jenny Arrington who published a powerful article that all of the Trusted Clothes volunteers believe in. Read One Thing We Can Do and do what’s right and “Slow Down” before buying clothes on sale at major retailers.
We chose Jenny as the “Volunteer of the Month” because she’s started following a sustainable clothing initiative with Project 333 – a fashion challenge where you dress with 33 items or less for 3 months. We recommend that you jump on the bandwagon and practice Project 333!
She’s also the founder of Karma Trik. Once piece of clothing that you can wear 15 ways! That is so cool and creative! We like it!
Calling on all Graphic Designers
Are you a novice or student graphic designer who would like to hone your skills? At Trusted Clothes, we are always on the look out for fresh and new talent to work in our graphics department.
